Refugees in Queensland's Gatton are being given the opportunity to expand their life skills and better equip themselves for life in Australia. A group of of refugees recently graduated from the life-skills course funded by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship and run through the Lockyer Valley Regional Council. They were taught important skills to help them enter the workforce, like how to use a computer. write a resume and participate in job interviews.
