A labour hire racket allegedly operating in Sydney’s construction industry has been the target of a joint Australian Federal Police (AFP)/Immigration operation.
An immigration compliance field activity in Newington, which located 13 gyprockers working illegally, was followed by early morning warrants served on a plastering contracting business.
Arrangements to remove the group of 13 illegal workers are under way.
